1. What is a short-term loan?

   • You can choose to take your short-term loan over 23, 31, 50, 52 or 81 weeks.

      

     We’re here to help as little or as much as you need. Just choose the amount you’d like to take and how long you’d like to take to pay it back.

      

     You can apply for one now and get a decision in principle online.

2. How much can I borrow?

   • As a current customer you could borrow up to £2,500. The best thing to do is to speak to your agent about your next Provident Loan.

      

     Remember you don't have to borrow cash – there’s also our Love2shop Vouchers.

      

3. What is My Provident?

   • My Provident is an exclusive area of our website for our current customers. As a current customer you will be able to do lots of things within My Provident;

     You can:

     • Access information on our products 24/7
     • Keep up to date on the latest Provident news and product launches
     • Find the information that you need before you speak to your Agent

     What's more you can discover loan options with Provident that you didn't know were available.

     We are always updating My Provident so make sure that you keep coming back!

4. Is my loan confidential?

   • Yes it is.

      

     We’ll only discuss details of your loan with you and not with other family members or friends as we’re bound by the Data Protection Act.

5. What do I do if I miss my Agent and I need to make a payment?

   • If you and your Agent miss each other then don't panic, give your Agent a call and they should be happy to rearrange their visit and come see you within the next few days. If you are unable to get in touch with your Agent and you wish to make a payment, then you can call our payment line on 0800 048 1106 and you can make your payment over the phone using your debit card.
