Provident Gold Card

  1. Where can I use my Provident Gold Card?
    • You can use your Provident Gold Card in more than 30 of your favourite retailers* across the UK including Argos, Toys ‘R’ Us, Iceland and Boots (plus many more).

      You can now also purchase online retailer e-codes enabling you to go shopping at some great online retailers including amazon.co.uk, HMV.com and zavvi.com (plus many more).

  2. When will I start my repayments?
    • Repayments will start in January 2012; your Agent will discuss this with you as part of the application process.

      You will also receive a statement around this date that lets you know the total amount you have spent on your card, the total sum owed (your total amount spent + interest) and your weekly repayments.

      Your Agent will then call to your home each week to collect your repayments.

  3. Do I receive any discounts with my Provident Gold Card?
    • Yes, you receive some great discounts with your card. Ask your Agent for an offer booklet or visit the Love2shop offers page to find out more.

  4. What happens if my card is lost or stolen?
    • Please keep your card in a safe place. In the event of the card being lost or stolen, you must notify Provident immediately and also suspend your card using the 24/7 automated telephone service on 0844 770 9015.

      If you require a replacement card please contact your Agent.

  5. Does my Provident Gold Card expire?
    • Yes, your card will expire on the 31st December 2011. On this date you card will become inactive and you will only pay back the amount that you have spent up to this date plus interest.

       

  6. Can I use my Provident Gold Card on the internet?
    • Your Provident Gold Card can be used on the More2you website to purchase online retailer e-codes enabling you to go shopping at some great online retailers including amazon.co.uk, HMV.com and zavvi.com (plus many more).

      Further details on how to purchase these e-codes and a full list of where they can be spent can be found on the carrier your card came on or at www.more2you.co.uk/love2shop.

  7. What happens if I don’t spend the full £400 on my Provident Gold Card?
    • If you don’t spend the full £400 on your card before it expires on the 31st December 2011, then you will only pay back what you have actually spent plus interest.

      This keeps you in control as you only spend what you need.

  8. How do I find out my balance?
    • To find out your balance you can either call the 24/7 automated telephone service on 0844 770 9015 or visit www.flexecash.com. Please make sure that you have your 19 digit card number handy.

  9. Can I exceed the £400 limit on my Provident Gold Card?
    • No, you cannot exceed the £400 limit on your card as it is not a credit card and is limited to a maximum of £400 only.

      However, as an existing Provident customer, you are able to apply for up to 3 of these cards if you wish. The decision to issue more than one card lies with your Agent.

  10. Where can I find more details on my Provident Gold Card?
    • You will receive full details on the features and benefits of the card from your Agent. This includes how to activate it, how to check your balance, where you can use it and what to do if your card is lost or stolen.
