Nominate Your "Not-Dad" This Father's Day

Families can be complicated things, which often throws a shadow across fun events like Father’s Day. Chances are there’s a father figure in your life who you’d love to shower with recognition and affection on 17th June, but you’re not sure if they quite fit the requirements of the day’s celebration. So this year we’re asking you to nominate your “not-dad” for Father’s Day. Could be a brother, friend, granddad, teacher, coach, neighbour, uncle or anyone else who’s given you the encouragement, support and attention that Father’s Day celebrations are all about. And to help you show them just how much you’ve appreciated their efforts down through the years, we’re giving two lucky winners a three-month subscription to SuperLoot that you can pass along to your beloved not-dad!

To enter, simply do the following over on our Facebook or Twitter:

  • Read, absorb and find peace with the terms and conditions below.
  • Nominate your not-dad and tell us why they’re so special to you.
  • Like the competition post on Facebook/retweet the competition post on Twitter.
  • Like or follow the Provident page on Facebook or Twitter (depending where you entered)

Winners will be notified by direct message, so make sure you follow us on social media otherwise we won’t be able to message you if you win!

2 x Three-month subscription to SuperLoot.co.uk (one subscription for each of the two winners)

What is SuperLoot? We’ll let them answer that one: “We work through hundreds of different products to find the most original, unusual and exclusive items to send out in our mystery geek subscription boxes. In every package there will be between five and seven surprises, they might relate to a superhero, a specific genre or a theme that we know you’ll love.”

Please note that, according to SuperLoot, crates are generally sent out at the end of each month, so chances are prizes won’t be received right away. Winners will then receive a new SuperLoot create a month after the first one, and another month after that! It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Neither do we know exactly what your not-dad will receive, which is actually part of the fun! Check out SuperLoot.co.uk for an idea of the kind of thing we’ll be sending to the winners’ not-dad. Be aware that SuperLoot boxes are generally sent out at the end of the month, so winners won’t receive their prize right away on Father’s Day. A new box will then be delivered a month later, and another one after that. The geek gift just keeps on giving! Go enter now on Facebook or Twitter!
