BrightHouse loans (known as BrightLoans) have been closed since March. This means that they're not providing loans or goods to new or existing customers. However, we may be able to help you. Use our loan calculator below to see what your repayments would be on the loan amount you need.
With our loans you can buy just what you need. We offer loans of between £100 and £1,000 subject to affordability, which are repayable over 13 to 52 weeks.
We understand that unexpected costs happen from time to time. Maybe your washing machine or boiler has broken down and you need to pay for it to be repaired or replaced. We’ll consider you even if you have poor or no credit history at all. We look at your incomings and outgoings to help us make a decision on your loan application subject to affordability.
BrightHouse specialised in rent-to-own agreements on a range of different products and appliances. Some of these included:
If approved you can also use a Provident loan to help pay for these types of items and appliances.
If accepted in principle, a member of the team will carry out an affordability assessment over the phone as part of the application process. We'd normally visit you in your home to do this, however, due to Coronavirus we're not currently making any home visits. In order to continue your application you'll need to provide proof of your ID, address, income and a video of yourself asking for a loan from us. You'll also need to talk us through your outgoings in the affordability assessment. You can view the full list of accepted proof of ID and income here.
*If we can't visit you because of a lockdown there are other options to pay. Go to our Coronavirus Update page to find out more. Or, you can call your Rep who will let you know how you can pay.
Unlike some loan companies, Provident has been around for a very long time. Founded in 1880 by Joshua Waddilove, who wanted to help working families provide for themselves. Since then, that’s exactly what we’ve been doing and have helped hundreds of thousands of people when they needed a hand.
