As we mentioned previously, Agents discuss and process your loan application, and if approved, deliver your loan straight to your door. They then call every week to collect repayments.
Agents make Provident stand out from most other lenders, as they offer a face to face service. When you apply for a loan, you’ll be contacted by an Agent who will arrange to see you. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions you have and discuss your application in further detail. Your Agent will carry out an affordability assessment to ensure that the loan requested is affordable for you. If approved, your Agent will then arrange a date and time to deliver your loan and commence collection of repayments. From then on, your Agent will call at your home to collect your repayments weekly and discuss any concerns you may have.
Once you have agreed with your Agent on an amount and a repayment period that suits your budget your agent will bring the cash to your home and then pop back each week to collect the repayment. Many of our agents have previously been our customers so they have been in the same situation as you and may understand what you are going through.
If, for whatever reason, you’re struggling to make repayments, your Agent will be your first port of call. They will be able to discuss your repayment options and work out an easier way for you to repay your loan.
If you know you're not going to be around when your Agent is due to call at your home, let them know so they can come at a more convenient time.
If something unexpected happens which means you miss your agent and so can't make a repayment, just give them a call and reschedule to a time more suitable for you.
